Animals are exquisitely sensitive beings. They don't rationalize their feelings or push discomfort aside. They don't tell themselves they're fine when they're not.

They simply feel... fully, honestly, and in the present moment. Stress, fear, grief, pain, joy, and love move through them without filter or apology. That raw sensitivity is one of the most beautiful things about animals. It is also what makes them so vulnerable to the energetic world around them.

What many people don't realize is that animals don't just carry their own emotional weight. They often absorb it from the people they love and the environment they inhabit.

When we are anxious, they sense it. When tension fills a home, they hold it within their own bodies. When grief enters a family, they grieve alongside us- often without anyone noticing.

Animals are empathic by nature, finely attuned to shifts in energy, emotion, and nervous system states. It is part of how they communicate, how they protect, and how they connect. But over time, carrying the unspoken stress of the humans around them can leave an animal in a state of quiet overwhelm- presenting as restlessness, withdrawal, changes in behavior, physical tension, or inexplicable anxiety that no amount of routine or reassurance seems to touch. In this way, supporting an animal's energetic well-being is also, in some sense, a gift to the whole household.

My connection with animals began long before I discovered Reiki.

As a child, I dreamed of one day becoming a veterinarian and spent weekends volunteering at a local animal shelter. Throughout my life, I have felt deeply drawn to animals and the quiet wisdom they carry. Their ability to live authentically, trust instinct, and offer unconditional companionship has always inspired me. They have been some of my greatest teachers.

After nearly three decades in healthcare as a Dental Hygienist, I chose to follow the path that had always been calling me. The Indigo Field was created from a simple belief: Every animal deserves to be seen, heard, respected, and honored as the unique individual they are.

My philosophy is centered on partnership rather than intervention. I don't believe healing is something we force upon an animal. Rather, Reiki offers a peaceful space where an animal's own intuition and natural blueprint for balance can gently guide the healing process. My role is simply to hold that space with compassion and patience, while honoring whatever the animal chooses to receive.

During every Reiki session, I create the space for the animal to receive in their own way, allowing the experience to unfold naturally, without force or expectation. Whether your animal is experiencing anxiety, recovering from illness or injury, adjusting to change, entering their senior years, grieving the loss of a companion, or simply in need of a peaceful moment of relaxation, each session is guided by kindness, intuition, and respect.

THE SPACE OF POSSIBILITY

As an Usui Reiki Master and Usui Ryoho Animal Reiki Practitioner, my work is rooted in traditional Reiki along with specialized training in Reiki and energy work for animals. I approach each session with respect for the animal's individual needs, boundaries, and natural instincts.
